Lena Corwin

I am still working in the ceramic work place on my mugs. I poured them and added my pattern to it. Today they have been baked and monday I am going to glaze them. I am very curious how they will become.

I just ordered a book of Lena Corwins entitled Printing by Hand: A Modern Guide to “Printing with Handmade Stamps, Stencils, and Silk Screens". I heard great stories about this book so I am very excited about it.

Working on new items

I worked all day in the ceramics workspace at school. I have made two shapes and will make / pour my own mugs next week. I don't exactly know what I am going to do with them. Paint a pattern or scratch a pattern in it. We'll see.

I also made a new bag for my Branch New line. It is a handbag. You can loose the handle.

Now I have to focus on the 'paper' part. I have a lot illustrations but I have to figure out what to make with them.

Branch Naturals

Last week I've been working on some new things for my line. Next monday I have to show what I have until now (at school) for this project so I wanted to make some new things.
I started with this mug holder. I wanted the wood round the mug but that was not possible because the wood was to soft so I made two versions. One with my Branch Naturals logo and one with a green stripe.

Yesterday I made an other book. A few weeks ago I found this beautiful wooden onderleggers. I made a book of it with felt.
It turned out pretty nice. It is beginning to look like something but I still have to make a lot.
I hope the branch naturals shop is online in june!
