:: Voorbereidingen Swanmarket, nieuwe collectie ::

Ik ben druk met de voorbereidingen bezig voor de Swanmarket op 22 januari.
Hier zal ik o.a. ook de kussens van de collectie ONE verkopen. Deze zijn op dit moment alleen nog verkrijgbaar bij Feito Com Amor in Breda.

One is een serie producten die bestaan uit één kleur met daarop een accent in een contrasterende kleur. Van elke kleuren combinatie is er maar één oplage. Je hebt dus altijd een uniek item in handen. De collectie bestaat o.a. uit ronde, rechthoekige en wolken kussens, gehaakte armbanden, lampenkappen, stofboekjes en Ipad hoezen.

I bought cool owl fabric at Frau Tulp. They sell very cute fabrics and sewing supplys. If I had more money I would have bought all fabrics ;) hehe. They also have an online shop.

At Me and My mum at the marienburgerstrasse you will find everything for your little one. Toys, gifts, clothes and also cute fabrics to make the loveliest things!

A few doors ahead you will find 'Die Schatzinsel' With kids toys, wooden games, great gifts and other cute stuff and fabrics.

Twinkle at the kollwizstrasse 52 sells homeware, fabric and other things. I love this shop!

Vanaf volgende week zijn onderstaande producten te voelen, te zien en te koop bij Pâmela van Feito Com Amor. Sinds kort heeft zij een stenen winkel aan de Sint Annastraat 17 in Breda. Je vind daar vintage, handgemaakte producten, meubels etc. van verschillende ontwerpers. Allemaal uniek of in beperkte oplage.

Dus mocht je een keer gaan shoppen in Breda vergeet dan niet de Sint Annastraat!

:: Shopping guide Berlin Part II::

Other places we've visited in Berlin were:
FleaMarket in Mauerpark on sundays.
Every sunday there is a flea market were you can find vintage, handmade, food and other things. When we visited the market there was also playing a band called 'Rupert's Kitchen Orchestra'. Fun music!

Nearby the Mauerpark you will find lot's of nice shops and food places. Unfortunately most shops are closed on sunday.
We ate a delicious waffle at Kauf Dich Glucklich at the Oderbergerstraße 44.

One of the surprises were the baked potatoes from Bixels. Unfortunately only available on Mulackstrasse 38. I wish we had such a great place in NL. The potatoes are made available by Daniel Bixel.
See the menu. I had Beef — with tomatoes, olives, carrot apple salad, red onions, horse radish sauce. Love it!


In the neighborhoud Prenzlauer berg we talked with the owner of Supalife Kiosk. This is an art gallery on the Raumerstrasse 40. We talked about art and it's hard to live from your own art work. The store/gallery also has an online shop.

We've also visited the Sonycenter. Were we saw the exhibition called Storyboards from Hitchcock to Spielberg.
The Sonycenter is an amazing building. You will also find a cinema and we watched Rise of the planet of the apes is English ofcourse! haha

These are a few spots you have to see when visiting Berlin.
In the next post I also will show some fabric/wool and clothes stores.

:: HandmadeByMo at Brandersfeesten in Schiedam ::

De winkel zal voor één dag gesloten zijn op 24 september omdat ik met een kraam op de Brandersfeesten in Schiedam.
Afgelopen week heb ik hard gewerkt om meer koele, frisse en schattige items te maken die ik morgen zal verkopen.
Hopelijk zie ik je daar!

Je kunt mij vinden van 12:00 tot 17:00 op de Appelmarkt (ten hoogte van huisnummer 84 op de Lange Haven.)

Last week I have worked very hard to make more cool, fresh and cute items I will sell tomorrow.

:: Shopping guide Berlin Part I::

Berlin was amazing we saw, ate and shopped a lot!
At home I already searched for some cute shops to visit and so we did.

I will show you the shops and places we visited in Berlin in a few post because it is to much for one! haha.

The first day we walked through the Oranienburgerstrasse. We visited arthouse Tachelles wich is still open. This is a old building covered with graffiti. In this building are working different artist with different disciplines. You can visit their workspaces and buy work. It is a mixture between a gallery and a squatted house.
In this street you will also find United Loneliness. This is a label/shop that sells reproduces of Andreas Bartos work. I bought a cloud-paper-airplane t-shirt and love it!


Near Oranienburgerstrasse you will find Fräulein Herz in the Krausnickstrasse. This is a cool shop that sells nice fabrics and handmade bags. She was closed while I was in Berlin but you can also buy fabrics and other things at her online store.

After visiting some stores we got a bit hungry of course ;) Near our appartment at the Chausseestrasse we found a place called Ris-otto. Were you only can eat... Risotto! haha. It was very delicious and cheap! a big plate for only €6,50.

:: 365 dagen project ::

Misschien ben ik niet meer zo origineel maar in de Flow die in augustus op mijn deurmat viel stond een artikel over een 365-dagen-project. Dit houd in dat je elke dag iets maakt, fotografeert of opschrijft en dit post op je blog.

Aangezien ik altijd tegen mezelf mopper dat ik vaker moet bloggen leek mij dit een perfecte opdracht voor me.

Toen ik nog op school zat moesten wij ook een periode elke dag iets schilderen. In het begin vond ik het erg moeilijk om elke dag inspiratie te vinden om iets op papier te krijgen maar na een tijdje werd het steeds makkelijker en kwam ik op ideeën waar ik voorheen niet op gekomen was.
Daarom wil ik starten met mijn eigen 365 dagen project. Het onderwerp dat ik kies zijn wolken. Dit spreekt een beetje voor zich natuurlijk ;). Ik vind wolken fascinerend en ik vind het interessant om te kijken of ik 365 dagen wolken met verschillende disciplines weer kan geven.

Ik zal in het begin één keer per week posten. Ik begin in week 36 met het project in Berlijn en zal deze pas in week 37 op mijn blog posten.

I always say to myself I need to blog more often.
When I read Flow magazine I bumped into an article about 365 days projects. This looks like a good project for me to get more inspiration and to blog more often. I need to make, write of photograph every day of the week for one year and post it to my blog. I am wondering if I can display one subject 365 times in different kinds of craft forms.

I am starting this week in Berlin but I am posting the photos next week when I am back.

Met trots laat ik mijn nieuwe camera aan jullie zien!
Het is een Canon EOS 1100D met een Canon EF 18-135 IS II lens.
Ik moet nog wel veel leren aangezien dit mijn eerste spiegelreflex camera is.



Komende week gaan mijn lief en ik een naar Berlijn!
Ik ben al een keer eerder in Berlijn geweest. Dit was toen ik nog op de Willem de Kooning academie zat. We moesten toen verschillende excursies organiseren en hadden daarom weinig tijd om zelf rond te kijken.
Dit ga ik deze keer inhalen. Er is nog zoveel te zien!

I proudly present my new camera. It's a Canon EOS 1100D with an EF 18-135 IS II lens.
I still need to learn how to use this camera because it's my first reflex camera.

Next week my love and I are going to visit Berlin! I've already been there when I was in college but now I have time to visit things I missed the first time.
